It is something even better.

I present to you the first of its kind - EVInfra.BI. This Intelligence tool can present specific information about the existing charging infrastructure across multiple parameters. All of it in a matter of a few clicks.

Study the competition and identify the gaps. Across Charge Point Operators, Charger OEMs, Auto OEMS, Hospitality Industry, Oil Marketing Companies, Property owners (malls / commercial buildings), etc.

How can I use it?

Skip this section if you use PowerBI on a regular basis.

Your organization should have an active PowerBI licence (Pro or PPU - Premium Per User). The license is also available if your organization uses Microsoft 365 E5 or Office 365 E5 products

PowerBI Pro, as a standalone product, is available at USD 10 / user / month. You have to buy the license separately and this is not available as a part of EVCharge.BI. PPU licensees can also access EVInfra.BI.

You can also sign up with a free Microsoft Fabric account. It will give you a 60 day trial for the Pro account. Once the free trial expires, the report will remain inaccessible till you upgrade to a Pro or a PPU license.

It is mandatory to have a business email address to sign up for PowerBI.

Beginners can take 30-45 minutes to understand the basics and nuances of PowerBI. We will be around to help you. PowerBI works best on Edge browsers for both MacOS and Windows. Our guidelines will help you navigate it.

Pro tip - Use any two to three parameters and you can see the data across the other parameters.

Methodology

All CPO apps were downloaded on both iPhone and Android phones. After signing up and logging in on each app, CCS2 and Type2 charging points were filtered. The data was then manually entered into a database.

The data was collected from the end of May 2024 to mid August 2024. The process was done once per CPO. The latitude and longitude of the charging points were then used with Open Street Maps and Google Maps to get other details.

The data is static. Bugs and improvements will happen on a need basis.

Atleast 75% of the public CCS2 and Type2 connectors are covered by choosing the below CPOs.

*The rates for Jio-bp were adjusted after the data collection was over. They announced rate hikes across all chargers.

*Faulty Indian Oil Chargers do not show the number of Charger Ports on the app.
