Thank you for showing so much love to the Bandhavgarh road trip article. A lot of people wrote in and it meant a lot to me. It is mandatory to read the road trip article before reading this one to get the complete context.
In this 10 minute article, I will cover some of the feedback I have for the industry. I will talk about where charging points should be installed, where there are power cuts, what does the existing 60kW and above infrastructure really look like, tracked utilisation, CPO support systems, user experiences etc.
Specific pointers
Charging scenarios and does it make sense to install chargers in Agra?
Charging opportunities on Agra Lucknow expressway
Experiencing Jio-bp’s customer support

Agra
Yamuna Expressway is one of the major high speed way out to go east or central India from New Delhi, be it Lucknow or Hyderabad. The expressway ends at Agra and branches out to different national highways and expressways. There are 14 60kW and above chargers in Agra, as per 2412 EVInfraBI.
Of these chargers, the one in the extreme north is IOCL, where 95% of the chargers are unreliable. The next set of chargers in the south east region are the ones closer to Yamuna Expressway and Agra Lucknow expressway. The closest one to the highway is by Statiq at Jaypee hotel, which is around 7 km Budhana Mustkil, the interchange point between the Inner Ring Road and Agra Lucknow Expressway. It is 15 km from Kuberpur, the interchange point between Yamuna Expressway and Agra - Firozabad road.
It is important to mention that Zeon has a 22kW AC and a 24kW DC closer than Statiq’s Jaypee hotel charger to the above interchange points.
Let’s say a CPO would like to install a 60kW or above charger around here. My pointed recommendations would as follows.
